During grid outages, solar generation powers loads preferentially, with surplus energy charging batteries. If solar supply is inadequate or grid power fluctuates, the battery storage system instantaneously engages to maintain stable power. The diesel generator activates only under worst-case conditions: no grid power, no solar generation, and depleted batteries – operating solely for critical load support without charging the storage system, thereby minimizing fuel consumption.
