The KORTRONG Integrated Photovoltaic & Energy Storage Project successfully held its groundbreaking ceremony at KORTRONG New Energy Storage Industrial Park on April 3.
Leveraging its strengths as a premier provider of integrated "green power + green computing power" solutions, the Group marked a pivotal step in developing eco-friendly low-carbon industrial parks, accelerating the adoption of cutting-edge clean energy technologies.
The KORTRONG project features a photovoltaic (PV) capacity of 1.5 MW and a total energy storage capacity of 3.579 MWh, integrating a hybrid operational model of self-consumption, grid-feeding, and peak-to-off-peak arbitrage. This innovative approach not only reduces the energy costs for the industrial park but also enhances the efficiency of renewable energy utilization and promotes the consumption of clean energy. By optimizing the energy mix and driving advancements in green industrial development, the project exemplifies a strategic transition toward sustainable power systems and holds significant implications for advancing decarbonization initiatives.
The project is equipped with 13 sets of KORTRONG 130kW/261kWh immersed liquid cooling systems and 1 set of KORTRONG 60kW/186kWh PV-storage hybrid system. This initiative was developed and constructed by Zhuhai Bortron New Energy Co., Ltd.
