It effectively smooths output fluctuations from wind and solar generation, strengthens grid security and stability, and defers investment in transmission corridors and thermal peaking plants – reducing grid expansion costs. The system adopts a 587Ah cell + 6.25 MWh container + string PCS architecture, delivering high system efficiency, deep depth of discharge (DOD), and superior capacity retention. Revenue is generated through multiple channels – spot market price spreads, capacity payments, and frequency regulation ancillary services – supplemented by various subsidies, delivering solid unlevered returns. As a 10 GW-scale shared energy storage demonstration project in Ningxia, it operates with zero carbon emissions throughout its lifecycle, accelerating the deployment of an integrated "wind-solar-thermal-storage" multi-energy complementary power system. The project will absorb significant volumes of clean energy annually, supporting regional carbon peaking and neutrality goals while driving local energy storage industry development and employment.
